The Tokyo Shoemakers Cooperative ("the Cooperative") collects information about visitors to its website ("this site") only to the extent necessary for the smooth operation of the services it provides (the information offered through this site). Information collected is handled appropriately and only within the stated purpose of use.

(2) When you use the "Contact" form, we may ask you to provide your age, gender, address and e-mail address on an optional basis.
3. Purpose of use
(1) Information collected under section 2(1) is used as a reference for the smooth operation of the services this site provides.
(2) The opinions and comments collected under section 2(2) will be used as a reference for the Cooperative's future activities.

Except where a request for disclosure is made under law, or where there are illegal acts such as unauthorised access or threats, or any other special reason, the Cooperative will not use the information it has collected for purposes other than those set out in section 3, nor provide it to third parties. Statistically processed access information for this site may, however, be published.

The Cooperative takes necessary measures to prevent leakage, loss or damage of the information it has collected, and otherwise to manage it appropriately.
6. Disclosure of information about oneself
This site does not collect names, dates of birth or any other information generally capable of identifying a particular individual. Accordingly, we cannot respond to requests from those who have written to us through the Contact form for disclosure of information about themselves.
7. Scope of application
This privacy policy applies only to this site. The handling of information by the Cooperative's affiliated bodies is carried out under the responsibility of each respective organisation.
8. Notes
Some social networking services (SNS) automatically transmit information such as user IDs and the address of the site being visited from a website to the SNS whenever you view a page that contains the SNS's "button", even if you do not press the button.
