About the Tokyo Shoemakers Cooperative

Tokyo Shoemakers Cooperative is an association based in Asakusa — the historic heart of Japanese footwear — with 75 leather-shoe manufacturers among its current members. We hold seminars and study sessions to advance shoemaking technique, conduct strength tests to keep production safe, and run cooperative activities aimed at producing Japanese leather shoes the world can be proud of.
